Tranespired is a word cluster composed of two words – Trane (Coltrane) and Inspired. Therefore – inspired by Coltrane. This is a project which presents new compositions by Cieślikowski, band members, as well as the most refined works by Coltrane and the members of one of his last quartets – that is Jimmy Garrison, Elvin Jones and McCoy Tyner. The record is characterised by the post Coltrane spirit, in a highly modern, modal stylistics. The music is incredibly energetic, loaded with elements of free jazz.
